The city of Fairview was buzzing with school spirit Friday, October 22.

Fairview High's annual homecoming parade made its rounds to Westwood and Fairview elementary schools and Fairview Middle, hyping up the community for the football game against Sycamore High that night. The FVHS Yellow Jackets defeated the War Eagles 48-34, capping off a successful homecoming week.

"Fairview High's student council did an amazing job organizing a homecoming week that will provide our students with lifelong memories," said FVHS Principal Dr. Kurt Jones. "I also want to give a shoutout to our football team for their victory over Sycamore High. Congratulations to all of our homecoming attendants and queen candidates, and congratulations to our homecoming queen Taylor Bilderback."
