Second-grade students at Mill Creek Elementary brought history to life by presenting their wax museum projects Thursday, February 8.

Each student selected and researched a famous American historical figure. They dressed up as their chosen figure and presented important facts in a speech to their parents and friends who visited the museum.

"I like being able to dress up at school," said MCES second-grader Edyn Bauman, who was dressed as NASA pioneer Katherine Johnson. "I also liked researching and learning different things about my person."
