Students at Oak View Elementary are growing their knowledge about plants in the Learning Lab.

On Friday, April 12, students traveled outside to enjoy the beautiful weather and learn what it takes to make seeds grow.

"We are making a garden of flowers," said OVES student Eva Rose Chapman. "They need water and the sun to grow. We used a ruler to measure our plants, and I think mine might be the tallest one."

  • Lipscomb Elementary students are learning how to be good citizens.

In LES second-grade teacher Michelle Johnson's class, students created a good citizen model that detailed how they could make a difference at home, at school, in the community and online.

"We wrote what we do at these different places," said LES student Demetrios Graves. "I said that I help the teachers in school."
