Thompson's Station Middle Students Visit Technology Museum

Sixth graders at Thompson's Station Middle are time-traveling with the help of a special lesson.

On February 21, the students visited a technology museum in class which featured various historical gadgets and items, including record players, candlestick telephones and more.

"Our students have been talking about different forms of technology," said TSMS literacy coach Paige Barr. "Today, they are building some of their background information about the history of different pieces of technology. They are going to use that information in an upcoming argumentative essay and debate about whether technology is more helpful or harmful."
