Students in Hillsboro School art teacher Stephanie Hooker's class are working together to create a unique piece.

In their latest project, students are making a collaborative art sculpture by drawing a design on a piece of paper, creating a cube and then using the cubes to build a structure.

"We took optical art and Zentangle and made it into a cube form," said HEMS student Collin Godsil. "It's going to turn into a big installation. It's cool because we can basically draw whatever we want, and it's a giant piece that everyone worked on."
