Heritage Elementary third grade teacher Becky Reeves starts her class each morning in a musical way.

As Reeves plays her ukulele, students sing along to fun music. After singing, students are encouraged to answer a question and share with the class.

"I use it for fluency with reading words as they're singing," said Reeves. "It also gets us all unified in breath and heart rate, and it helps us build community."
