The Independence High auditorium was transformed into a certain wizarding school October 19-22 for the theater department's production of Puffs

More than 100 students worked to take audiences through all seven school years, focusing on the story of a special group of students who grew up alongside a certain boy wizard.

"Our cast and crew poured their hearts and magic into bringing the story of Puffs to life," said IHS theater directors Becky Williams and Taylor Sokoll. "Over the course of the process, our students displayed the true spirit of the Puffs: camaraderie, creativity and loyalty. We saw our students expand their skill sets and grow as performers, leaders and artists. We are fortunate to work with so many amazing students, freshmen through seniors, who made this show uniquely ours."
