Parent volunteers are vital to the success of Williamson County Schools. That was one of the themes of this semester's PTO-Principal meeting in Franklin.

On October 4, parent organization leaders from across the county gathered to meet with district leaders. PTOs help organize events throughout the year, including fall festivals, special breakfasts and more. During the 2022-23 school year, PTOs and booster clubs raised more than $11.2 million to help support students, teachers and staff.

WCS Superintendent Jason Golden and other district administrators try and meet with the volunteers once a semester to discuss goals, finances, communication and more.
