GES Students Practice Bus Safety

It's National School Bus Safety Week, and students at Grassland Elementary are practicing their bus evacuation drills.

On Tuesday, October 17, the WCS Transportation Department visited GES to host the drills. Students learned exactly what to do in the case of an emergency on the school bus.

"This is something that the Transportation team strongly feels we need to offer to any elementary school that wants it for their students," said WCS Executive Director of Operations Gary Anderson. "We are excited to be sharing important bus rules and making this a fun event for them."
