Students Compete in GMS Games

An annual tradition at Grassland Middle is making students excited to stay after school.

On Wednesday, October 25, the GMS Games gave students the opportunity to compete against their classmates in various activities, including kickball, human foosball, cornhole and more. 

"We had over 500 students stay after school for a few hours, and we made a record in earning funds to support our Positive Behavior Support program," said GMS Principal Dr. Timothy Drinkwine. "Students participated in fun and games with a team aspect. The successful event was spear-headed by teachers Ms. Keith and Ms. Key, and it was an all-hands-on-deck approach to make this such a wonderful time for our students."
