Centennial High Performs The Importance of Being Earnest

The Centennial High theater department performed The Importance of Being Earnest November 9-11.

An impressive set and talented students helped tell the story of two bachelors who created alter egos named Earnest to escape their dull, Victorian lives. Of course, the plan went awry when they had to hide their secret from two women who only love men named Earnest.

"It's been a ton of fun to take a deep dive into the Victorian era," said CHS theater director Megan Hardgrave. "Getting to use the language and a proper British accent is exciting, so the students just had a blast."
