District Seeks Input for ESSER Funds

    WCS families and staff will receive an email from the district June 22 with information and a short questionnaire regarding the district’s proposal for the use of approximately $5 million in Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) Funds.

    As part of the American Rescue Plan Act, these funds are being provided to State educational agencies and school districts to help sustain the safe operation of schools and address the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the Nation’s students.

    To learn how Williamson County Schools plans to use this money, you can watch the presentation below, read a description of the presentation in English or Spanish on the WCS Budget and Finance page, or attend one of two in-person meetings on the following dates:

    • Friday, June 25 at 1 p.m. at the WCS PD Center located at 1761 West Main Street in Franklin.
    • Tuesday, June 29 at 6 p.m. at the WCS PD Center located at 1761 West Main Street in Franklin.

    The deadline for participating is Wednesday, June 30 at 5 p.m.
