What is the Audio Academy?

The Music Industry Audio Production academy provides musically-inclined students with an understanding of music production, sound recording, live sound reinforcement and the foundations of the music business. Students learn industry-standard digital audio software, including ProTools. They learn how to use a recording studio to record and produce their own compositions and performances, and those of their classmates and peers. Students learn how to assemble a live PA system, and how to operate a PA for various applications. Students create projects to add to their website portfolio that integrate fundamental audio principles with concrete real world applications, and that demonstrate their mastery of modern audio production.
