Students explore the elements and principles of art through various art media including ceramics, painting, collage, drawing, sculpture and printmaking. Projects focus on artists and movements from across the globe teaching students how to produce, appreciate, evaluate, and critique artwork. Students learn how to creatively problem solve while refining and improving their art making skills.

Music classes allow students at Trinity to explore and create through movement, drama, and instrumental & vocal practices. Our grade level performances promote the ideas of cooperation and a sense of community. We follow grade level standards set by WCS and strive for our students to become more tune-ful, beat-ful, and art-ful. 

During classes in the Library Media Center, students engage in reading response activities and guided inquiry. Lessons range from understanding genres to creating websites based on research projects. While LMC classes include checking out books, students also develop many technology skills, including digital and copyright responsibility. Trinity’s access to multiple mobile devices has made it possible for us to learn technology skills during project-based activities. Students will gain special computer and online skills inside the media center to help students become more adept users and responsible digital citizens.

In Physical Education, our students will be exposed to a variety of skills and activities to promote a healthy lifestyle. They will be provided the opportunity to develop physical literacy with the goal of creating lifelong movers. Areas of content focus include locomotor skills, throwing, catching, soccer, basketball, jump rope, volleyball, hockey and more.

Trinity’s counseling program includes classroom guidance lessons, group sessions, and individual meetings. We cover many topics including feelings, bullying, career awareness, friendship, study skills and organization, as well as our school Best Me program. Students will engage in these topics through reading of books, video clips, interactive discussions, and an art or writing project. Counselors can meet with individual students about various concerns.
