Books that are deemed damaged beyond repair must be replaced. A damage bill with replacement costs will be sent home. Please note that should a page accidentally rip, please return your book to the library and we will repair the page with special tape. Checkout privileges are suspended until arrangements are made between parents and library staff to take care of damaged book fees.
-
Study Focus
During Study Focus, students may come to the library with teacher permission. Students who come to the library to work for the period must have a note from their teacher. Students working in the library during Study Focus must be respectful of other library patrons and their use of the library. The TSMS Library Staff reserves the right to remove students who are not following library procedures, being a distraction or disrespectful from the library at any time. The library is the hub of TSMS, and the library staff works diligently to ensure that it is a space for ALL students who attend TSMS.
-
Overdue Books
The TSMS Media Center does not charge daily fines for overdue books; however if a student has an overdue book, checkout privileges could be suspended until the book is returned or arrangements are made with the library media staff. Additionally, students with overdue books at the end of each quarter will not be eligible for the Thunder Throwdown until the overdue materials are brought to the library to be renewed or returned.
-
Lost Books
Books that have not surfaced by the end of a grading period are presumed to be lost. An overdue bill with the cost of replacing the book will be sent home. If a lost book is found within the same year, you may return it to the library and our school bookkeeper will issue a refund check. If a lost book is found during another school year; unfortunately, we are unable to issue a refund. In these instances, the book will be yours to keep or can be donated back to the TSMS Media Center.

Sora
- At the beginning of the 2020-2021 school year, WCS introduced Sora, the eBook platform for Williamson County School. Sora is available on students' Classlink Dashboard. Students should contact Carrie Gordon with any questions regarding Sora or to suggest titles for purchase. All Sora titles are managed and maintained by the WCS Media Specialists. Titles must meet the guidelines set forth by our WCS County Selection Policy.
This list of books on this site is auto-generated by Sora based on publisher-recommended interest levels. However, there are books listed that are set at a higher grade level in WCS. Students may only view what is available at their level in the Sora App on Classlink.
