Heritage Middle offers a wide variety of sports in the fall, winter, and spring seasons. Athletic Physicals
In order to be eligible to try out and participate in athletic programs or activities, all required athletic annual physical forms must be completed electronically through the Williamson County Schools FinalForms online dashboard. This enables parents and students to complete required athletic forms electronically. For parents and students new to Williamson County Schools, if you have not been provided access to the FinalForms dashboard, please contact your school’s athletic director or coach for assistance. You can find their contact information on the HMS Staff Page and in the information concerning that particular sport.

Game Day Tickets!
All tickets for athletic events, both home and away, are sold on GoFan.
Athletic passes are accepted for home games and matches.
No cash boxes will be kept at the gates.

HMS Sports Season Passes
Season Passes are not available for HMS families!
Visit the WCS Heritage Sports Season Passes for more information and to make your purchase.
All sales are final. Refunds are not available. If games are rescheduled, you may still use your pass for the new home game date. Non-transferable. Not responsible for lost or stolen passes. Must show pass at the gate for each event attended.

Cheerleading
HMS cheerleaders are dedicated to maintaining enthusiasm, promote and uphold school spirit, develop good sportsmanship at athletic events, as well as provide support and encouragement for all school-related activities.
Expectations
During the season, they will practice at least once or twice a week depending on how many games are scheduled. The squad also has a short practice before each game. Members of the team are expected to practice during the offseason by participating in Spring and Summer camps.

Dance Team
Expectations
The HMS Dance Team practices once to twice a week during the Dance Team season with short practices on game days. All dancers must have transportation following practices, as the school does not offer transportation.

Football
Grade Levels
Students at all grade levels (6th, 7th, and 8th) are eligible to participate. Junior varsity and varsity teams are offered.
Expectations
All students who wish to try out must have an updated physical uploaded on Final Forms, or bring a copy to the tryouts.
Required equipment: All participants will be responsible for bringing cleats, tennis shoes, mouth guard, practice pants (with incorporated lower body pads i.e. knee, hip, thigh, and tailbone pads). Previously used game pants and insertable pads will be available for $15 as well as jerseys for $5, all of which can be used for practice.
HMS will provide helmets, chin straps, and shoulder pads.
Participants must bring all the equipment on the first day of tryouts for coach inspection. During the heat acclimation period, players will start in shorts without pads and will gradually increase the pads worn throughout the accliation process.
Participants must also bring a healthy snack and water each day.

Soccer, Boys
Expectations

During the season, the team will practice at least once a week, depending on how many games are scheduled. The season begins in late September or early October and ends in November. Members of the team are expected to be at practice and maintain their academics while participating in the school team. Grades will be checked during the season to determine a player’s eligibility.
