Chorus
The choral program at Page has two ensembles that perform a wide variety of repertoire ranging from classical literature to musical theater and pop music. The choirs perform multiple concerts a year, compete in MTVA’s Choral Festival, and travel every Spring! Course offerings include:
Choir I (Page High Choir)
Page High Choir is a mixed ensemble. Students will practice healthy vocal production techniques and learn foundational sight-reading skills. While they are developing their own voices and musicianship, they will also be learning about blending and listening within an ensemble. We cover the basics of vocal auditions and solo performance. We strive to create a quality mixed ensemble sound and to teach students the foundations of musicianship, regardless of music experience.
Choir II (Chamber Choir)
The Chamber Choir is a mixed ensemble. The focus is to create strong musicianship and artistry for each singer through a cappella and traditional choral music. This class promotes vocal independence and growth of both solo and ensemble singers. Audition required.
